Changes happening everyday
We are in our offices and back viewing. But things are a little different while the ‘new’ normal becomes more commonplace.
We are putting Covid Safe practices in place both at our offices and when we are in the community visiting properties.
Below we answer some of the questions that we are being asked.
Call us or email us! Sales and Lettings teams are ready to; value your home, discuss the market and book viewings. There are new procedures in place but we are ready to go.
If you need to speak to a Property Manager or Administrator the current guidelines mean they can’t work in our offices at the moment. We are dealing with the logistics of this and getting the Tech in place to make sure our service is where it needs to be and our staff are easily contactable.
Our office is open, but you can’t just walk-in currently. We can arrange appointments, our offices have visitors seats to ensure social distancing but we need to schedule you in advance.
YES! This may seem like an oxymoron when you can’t see your whole family. However, some people do need to move and as long as the viewing is managed safely and Social Distancing can be adhered to then we can go ahead.
Viewings are being managed with safety procedures and best practices in place and we are more than happy to discuss these with you before any visits to give you the confidence that we are being careful
Our experienced valuers have been working long enough to have a deep understanding of most roads and property architecture within our communities. We are booking property visits now but if you aren’t ready to have someone in your home then we can have a phone conversation with you and give you some guidance. A full Valuation would require a property visit at some stage just for us to be sure.
We would be happy to set up a virtual valuation (so much more than an Online Estimate) with one of our valuers through Zoom and can discuss Fees, Marketing Plans and timings with you.
Yes certainly you can. Although all companies are working out their best practices, not just Estate Agents, Solicitors, Valuers, Surveyors and Removal Firms also have to ensure Safety Guidelines are followed.
For much of 2019, the property market was in a state of Lockdown as a result of BREXIT and the highs and lows with the General Election at the end of the year.
There has been a much higher level of activity in the first quarter or 2020. While the economic effects of the pandemic is obvious, the desire to move will always be a national urge. Some buyers will be concerned of the risks, while others will be more assured that they need to make that leap sooner rather than later.
There will be certain Buyers and Sellers that see the Pandemic as an opportunity, but Stanford Estates clients are homeowners and families that choose to move for specific reasons and not due to Financial duress.
Having been on ‘Pause’ we have pressed ‘Play’ now and are looking forward to the Summer months and Social norms.
Absolutely. Stanford’s has been a name synonymous with Forest Hill for generations, and more recently an Agent of choice in both Hither Green and Catford. The business is in good shape and has robustly prepared for downturns through past experiences and having survived Credit Crunches, Brexit, Gulf Wars and Recesssions.
We have had the chance to reflect on what we do and how we do it. We believe the personal touch is going to be even more important than ever before.
While we get used to new social norms and Covid Safe guidelines feel free to drop us an email and we will get back to you.
We understand there is still concerns about visiting properties and we will happily chat through any questions or concerns you have.
